There are repeated allegations that the Iranian regime has deployed killers from Hezbollah as they cannot trust the Iranian cops to be sufficiently brutal. There are allegations that Hezbollah is in the dorms of Isfahan University in Tehran and is shooting and beating people.
The Iranian regime sacrificed any legitimacy it once had. It is now little different from that of the Shah or of any number of thug-led states in that part of the world, like Syria and Egypt.
