I've had a tough decade. I started out believing I was born in a good, just country that had lost it's mind recently, but would recover.
The recovery hasn't started yet.
I've gradually shifted over into believing I now live in an evil country. The news confirms this every single day.
I keep searching for signs that things are getting better, or the pendulum will start to swing the other way, (or even start slowing down,) but it's not happening.
I might have to start reading more history, to test the theory that we're becoming the most evil country ever.
