Sweet Samantha, the Witch Bitch stray kitten I found in front of our home 18 years ago passed away last week. A virulently fast-acting cancer took her, though my wife and I were able to manage her pain with the help of our wonderful vet, and she passed peacefully wrapped around my hand.

As with your dear George, there'll be no replacing her, but when the time comes for us to open our home and our hearts to a new feline buddy for our pooches, it'll be another stray or shelter kitty.
