At age 10 I got to see a flyover of about a hundred Corsairs, Skyraiders and Avengers. It turned the whole world into sound...if only I could hear it again.

Sweet Video. Nearly knocked over by a B58 Hustler flyby going supersonic Goldsboro NC 1968 air show. The take off was pretty stunning too! I think they were retired in 1970. Good Lancaster sound here too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTQIUEa4cqA

That must have been the AEW version. Never got a ride, but I did get to crawl through one in Kinloss. Cramped, wore out, and the flight engineer didn't even sit in the cockpit! He sat behind the cockpit on the starboard side. STRANGE configuration!
